When a tune up is properly done on your car, the ignition system, fuel system, emission system and computer system are all working in sync. There are many results in the peak performce of you car such as saving you money at the gas pump, reducing the amount of pollutants your car emits, restoring lost power, and making the engine easier to start. Decreased engine performance and gas mileage can be caused by dirty air and fuel filters, corroded spark plugs, and clogged fuel injectors.
